About the course:

This course equips learners with knowledge towards designing and implementing efficient databases. There is a growing trend of relational and document database solutions being employed to solve data management problems today. Therefore, this course orientates the learners on the types of exploitable database structures that are available in the market. Learners are taken through database fundamentals and are taught to implement solutions that rely on both relational (structured) and non-relational (document-based) databases. Finally, learners are taken through a practice exercise demonstrating the steps of implementing a custom database platform.
